About
Some subjects just demand to be shared. Classical music with a backstory that reads like a novel. Broadway history full of rivalry, heartbreak, and songs that continue to awe. The life of Mozart: chaotic, brilliant, and gone too soon.
These are topics I love anyway, so it's a true pleasure researching, designing, and delivering these lectures to audiences who are curious, engaged, and not done learning.
My presentations combine carefully researched content with vivid photography, historical imagery, animation, music, and video, built around storytelling rather than text-heavy slides. I try to bring a new perspective to each lecture, creating an experience that feels less like a lecture and more like a conversation with someone who's genuinely obsessed with the subject.
Before launching my presentation business, I spent nearly a decade as Communications Manager at a Denver specialty food retailer, translating complex, expert-level knowledge into content that general audiences could engage with and enjoy. Before that, I worked as a web designer, copywriter, and technical writer at a Boulder software company. Those years of research, writing, visual design, and multimedia production now come together in every presentation I create, from the initial script to the final animation.
My programs are designed for libraries, lifelong learning organizations, retirement communities, museums, and civic groups throughout the Denver metro area. Whether the topic is music, history, culture, or technology, every presentation is built with the same commitment: warmth, clarity, and genuine enthusiasm for the subject.
I hope each program teaches you something new, makes you smile at least a little, and leaves you feeling curious to learn even more.
